Our story begins on a sunny day in Apulia, immersed in an organic olive tree grove: I’m helping Vincenzo (or at least I’m trying to!) to take care of his land, which has always been treated with love and respect. That day, while Vincenzo, on the wooden staircase, took care of the trees with the dedication that distinguishes him, I collected and stacked the branches, breathing an air of peace and serenity, despite the torrid climate.
Those olive trees do produce oil, one of the best in the area, and from that oil we can derive important benefits. Our challenge was to find a way to maintain the virtues of nature’s gifts, unaltered over time and recreate the emotions felt in that place at the same time; to collect them all and concentrate them in precious containers that protect them at best.
AVULÏV cosmetics are born right in that way: Italian products with Italian raw materials, but that love to embrace the rituals and cultures of the world. That’s why in each of our packages you will find a leaflet with an exclusive formula: a special gift that we want to give you, so that you can take care of yourself, as we do with our products.

We introduce ourselves
We are Manuela Torriani, from Brescia, who has always cherished Apulia, and Vincenzo Buono, born and grown up in that beautiful region of our beautiful Italy. We are two friends who have shared the desire to show that the land can give us wonderful things: it is enough to welcome its gifts with the heart and enjoy the benefits.
“As a native of Brescia – explains Manuela – I have always cherished Apulia for all the wonderful things that distinguish it. When I think about Apulia, many things come to my mind: its burnt and red land, the splendid olive trees, rich in stories, which seem to embrace the sky with their branches, and which tell, with their rustling on windy days, the multitude of tables full of bright red drying tomatoes, the scent of the air. Yes, because the air in Apulia has a different scent, it smells of happiness, traditions, folk dances, breakfasts in front of the sea, sitting and listening to the natives’ fascinating stories. I could go on for hours describing all the emotions I felt, but I keep some of them for myself, just because the unspoken ones are the secret ingredient in our projects’ recipe. Vincenzo, friend and mentor, was able to let me know, day after day, the most secret and profound aspects of that land, he shared with me his memories” “Together – Vincenzo adds – we realised that ‘our’ Apulia had to be handed down all over the world, for all the wonderful properties that can give us.
